Travel Safety & Advice

Before You Travel

Travel Safety & Advice

At Natures Thrill, your safety, wellbeing and peace of mind are at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with trusted accommodation providers, experienced local guides and carefully selected partners to deliver exceptional wildlife holidays across the globe.

However, international travel is dynamic, and circumstances can change with little or no warning. Political situations, severe weather, natural disasters, health concerns, transport disruption and local security conditions may all affect travel plans. For this reason, we strongly recommend that all travellers review the latest official government travel advice both before booking and again in the days leading up to departure.

Financial Protection

If you are travelling from the UK, the most up-to-date information is provided by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The FCDO offers comprehensive guidance on:

We encourage all UK travellers to visit the official FCDO Foreign Travel Advice website before travelling:

Travelling from the United States

For guests travelling from the United States, we recommend consulting the U.S. Department of State Travel Advisories, which provide country-specific information on safety, security, entry requirements and travel alerts. Official travel advice is available at:

Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

It is the responsibility of every traveller to ensure they hold a valid passport and meet all visa, vaccination and entry requirements for their chosen destination before travelling. Some countries require passports to remain valid for several months beyond your return date, while others may require electronic travel authorisations (ETAs), visas or proof of onward travel. As requirements can change at short notice, we recommend checking the relevant government guidance well in advance of departure.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance immediately after confirming your booking. Your policy should provide suitable cover for your destination, cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, repatriation and any activities included within your itinerary. Please ensure your insurer is aware of any specialist wildlife activities or adventure experiences that form part of your holiday, as these may require additional cover.
