Multi-award-winning wildlife photographer Kyle Moore is the founder of both BearPhoto and Natures Thrill. Having established BearPhoto a decade ago, he grew the company into one of the leading providers of specialist bear photography tours, before later bringing it together with Natures Thrill to offer a wider portfolio of exciting nature and wildlife holidays across the globe.
Based in the UK, Kyle is an experienced wildlife guide with particular expertise in photographing bears in some of the world’s most remote and challenging environments. His work has taken him from the vast wilderness of Alaska and the Arctic landscapes of Canada, where he has photographed polar bears, to the dense boreal forests of Finland in pursuit of the elusive European brown bear.
Alongside his photography, Kyle has developed extensive knowledge of the destinations and wildlife he works with, allowing him to combine specialist field experience with a strong understanding of wildlife behaviour and photography. His imagery and expertise have led to collaborations with tourism boards, leading broadcasters, including the BBC, and international brands, including a recent global campaign with Samsung showcasing its latest mobile photography technology.
Kyle’s photographs are represented by leading international photographic stock agencies and have been published across international media. Through BearPhoto and Natures Thrill, he continues to share his knowledge and passion for wildlife by creating carefully curated, photography-led experiences in some of the world’s most extraordinary wilderness destinations.
Kyle’s specialist destinations and species revolve around the bears of the world. With these remarkable and iconic animals at the heart of his work, he currently guides tours in Alaska, Canada, Finland and Slovenia. He considers Finland his second home, where he often immerses himself for weeks on end in the boreal forests. Here, he leads one of our signature tours, the Ultimate Predator Finale.
Further afield, Kyle is also an experienced guide specialising in polar bears in the Canadian sub-Arctic. It was here that he developed our immensely popular Churchill Polar Bear Photo Expeditions, where he quite literally walks alongside wild polar bears across the open tundra.
For our founder, Kyle Moore, the fascination with wildlife began in childhood. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong pursuit of the most remarkable moments in nature, from watching a grizzly bear plunge into a river in pursuit of salmon to witnessing elephants move across the African wilderness as the sun sets on another day.
It was that passion that led Kyle to create Natures Thrill: wildlife holidays led by people who combine genuine passion with proven experience, outstanding local knowledge and an unwavering commitment to responsible wildlife travel.
