Finland Predator Photography in Summer

    Thrilling Wildlife Holidays Worldwide

India: Into the Realm of the Tiger

Join professional wildlife photographer Roger Brendhagen on an unforgettable Tiger Photography Safari India, exploring the country’s iconic national parks of Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench. Venture into ancient forests and diverse wilderness areas for exceptional opportunities to photograph wild Bengal tigers in their natural habitat, alongside an incredible array of Indian wildlife. Discover India’s extraordinary biodiversity on this specialist wildlife photography adventure with Natures Thrill.

Join Natures Thrill on an extraordinary wildlife photography expedition through the heart of India, exploring three of the country’s most celebrated national parks: Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench. Carefully designed for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike, this remarkable journey combines exceptional wildlife encounters, diverse landscapes and rich cultural experiences in one unforgettable adventure.

These iconic reserves offer some of India’s most exciting opportunities to encounter the magnificent Bengal tiger in the wild. Beyond the tiger, the forests and grasslands support an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, including leopards, sloth bears, Indian gaur — the world’s largest wild cattle species — and numerous species of deer and antelope. From fascinating reptiles and amphibians to an abundance of birdlife, there is something to discover around every corner.

To encounter a wild tiger in the forests of India is to witness nature at its most powerful — a fleeting, unforgettable moment when the world stands still and the true spirit of the wilderness reveals itself.

Our safaris take place in open 4WD vehicles, with a maximum of just four guests per vehicle. This intimate arrangement provides generous space for camera equipment, excellent visibility and the flexibility to make the most of each wildlife encounter. With an itinerary carefully structured around wildlife activity and photographic opportunities, we aim to create a rewarding and relaxed experience throughout the expedition.

Each safari day begins before sunrise, when we venture into the national parks in search of wildlife during the cooler, most active hours of the morning. Following our morning drive, we return to the lodge for breakfast and time to relax before heading back into the wilderness for an afternoon safari. As the day begins to cool, the forests and surrounding grasslands offer further opportunities to observe and photograph the incredible wildlife that calls these reserves home.

Beyond the national parks, selected evenings offer opportunities to explore nearby villages and experience another side of India. Here, we discover vibrant local traditions, colourful surroundings and everyday rural life, with opportunities for respectful cultural photography and meaningful interactions with local communities.

For those dreaming of photographing wild Bengal tigers while experiencing the colour, culture and extraordinary heritage of India, this expedition offers a compelling combination of wildlife photography and exploration. Depending on the wider itinerary, the journey can also incorporate a visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal, adding one of India’s most remarkable cultural landmarks to an already memorable adventure.

Whether you are an experienced wildlife photographer or simply passionate about nature and photography, our knowledgeable tour leaders will be on hand to share their expertise, offer practical guidance and help you make the most of every opportunity in the field.
